Excellent staff at the Timberline, and ideally situated on a green run. We have little children and were able to ski all morning and then enjoy the heated pool and hot tub.

Very nice condo! (unit C1B) The Timberline condo's must be the most convenient ski-in/ski-out units on the mountain. The slope is just a few steps outside the unit. The only unit better than C1B for accessing the slope would be the end unit on the same building which would be about 30' closer to the slope and have a view of the slope. The staff was awesome! They will drive you down to the shops and pick you up when your done (the shops are only a short walk down the hill but coming back up is tiring if your out of shape. There isn't much a view from this unit as it faces another one of the Timberline Condo's but we didn't find this bothersome as we left the unit at Dawn to ski and came back after dark! If you want a view, get one of the end units that faces the slope. only 2 issues; You can't drive your car right up to the door to unload. You must park at the end of the bldg. and walk about 150' and the luandry machines were coin-op. I say charge an extra $10 and make 'em free!

Good location on the mountain. Unit was clean and comfortable and well serviced. However not the luxury the website suggests. Most appliances were outdated and some did not work at all. The walk up the hill is for the fit however the Snowmass shuttle was brilliant for tired legs.

2 PARENTS and 4 adult 'children' in a 2br + loft accommodation
Timberline Condos are located in a great position [we viewed the walk up the hill from the mall and the Aspen shuttle stop as 'character building' and good for ski fitness]
The customer service delivered by the complimentary shuttle drivers,maids and front desk was great.Beds were comfortable and main bedroom was spacious with a good sized ensuite.
Downsides
- main bathroom was MINUSCULE especially as it needed to service 4 people! - Kitchen equipment was old and dated and it took a few days to finally get a kettle delivered with which to boil water for hot chocolate and tea!
- Living area was a bit cramped and hard to negotiate. decluttering of some furniture is required
The unit we were assigned [A3E] is in need of an equipment upgrade to warrant the high weekly rental it demanded.
Snowmass offers GREAT skiing....with heaps of terrain for all levels, we will DEFINITELY return to Snowmass.

stayed in one bedroom with loft, had a great view of foothills. If one can climb stairs , would recommend staying on 3rd floor, much better views. very quiet at night and early mornings. only recommendation is, in summer, ask staff to open windows before you arrive, it does take the unit several hours to cool down with windows open. there is no air conditioning. very clean, confortable, kitchen had everything one needed.

5 adults, two small children stayed at the Timberline for a week. Been visiting Aspen for 20 years, stayed in Snowmass 3 times. The skiers loved the ski in/out at Timberline, very convenient to stop at the condo for a quick lunch and regroup. We stayed here as the 3 year old was in ski school and that worked out very well. The transportation service was ideal for the short trip to the Treehouse. The condo was a comfortable and updated 3 bed/2 bath. Another bathroom would have been appreciated but we managed without it. The furnishings were all comfortable, especially the master bed. One complaint was that the living area was a little bit tight to navigate. A kitchen island with bar stools was very close to the large dining table. View from the living room was away from the mountain, looking past the front entrance. Not the best view but VERY convenient for transport, pool and ski access. Service great and restaurant quite good. The adults prefer Aspen but this was great for children.

The Timberline had outstanding service while we were there. They will take you and pick you anyplace in Snowmass Village just about anytime you wish, e.g. run you down to the Village Store and come back later to pick you up. We have stayed at the Timberline on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The ski in - ski out location is superb, the facilities are very good: always clean and well maintained, and the staff are especially helpful and friendly.

My family has, by tradition, skied at Snowmass since 1978. Many changes in the past 30 years. This was our first stay at Timberline. I was apprehensive at not being able to select the exact condo for our stay (and the price); however, we were very pleased with the condo selected for us. We had a large group with us and the location and condo size was perfect. The maid service was excellent!!! The staff were wonderful, the drivers to /from the mall were very timely and fun. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our only real complaint was no actual hot tub separate from the heated pool and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable (even the master). For the price, we expected the beds to be very comfortable - but everyone complained (for good reason). I highly recommend Timberline. You won't be dissapointed.

Our 1st time to Snowmass and we loved the resort and the condos. We stayed in a loft appartment and although comfortable for kids (which suited us) in maybe a little cramped for adults.
Only other fault (if you could call it a fault) was the inconvenience of a shared laundry. Most ski accomodation we stay in has some sort of internal laundry ie washer/dryer in the appt. which I feel is important when skiing.
All round the staff where excellent and nothing was a problem or inconvenience.
PS The restaurant on site served great meals.

We had a first floor condo without a view of the slopes but of snow covered trees, absolutely loved not climbing stairs at the end of the day of skiing. The ski in and out was right out our patio. We had a fabulous time. Interior was very nice, like new carpets and kitchen fully stocked. Maid service was excellent. A short one block walk to the mall, shuttle great for further distances. Heated street and sidewalks were fabulous. Parking great if you drive. Close to airport and dinning in Village. Not too big to feel any crowd or noise. Hot tub is just a heated pool but has workout room and steam room.

I was very satisfied with the condo. The couple who owned the one we stayed at, had made many positive modifications and I just loved it. My daughter wanted us to buy a condo based solely upon this visit. We'll be back!

The views of the ski hill were great, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the weather and things to do were perfect, unfortunately, the condo was only ok. Apparently it was supposed to be a luxury condo... I felt for the price we should have gotten more than just average. We rented one with a loft and the loft is NOT for adults. It would be fine for children since the ceiling was not very high. I understand that it is a rental but the carpet was disgustingly dirty.
The daily cleaning service was a really nice bonus and you can't beat the scenery in CO!

It would be fine for children since the ceiling was not very high. I understand that it is a rental but the carpet was disgustingly dirty.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our condo. It was nicer than any of the pictures we saw, with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, leather furniture and comfortable beds. The staff was very responsive and everything was very clean. Thank you!

Condo was lovely, comfortable and at a great price. Conveniently located and in such a beautiful setting. Staff were helpful and professional except for the shuttle service which failed to be available or show up at a time reserved for us by the front desk.

We stayed in a Studio with loft and were very impressed with the standard of accommodation. The location was ideal – right by the slope, and we cannot fault the daily maid service. However, our condo was located right next to the ice making machine which rumbled and droned all day and all night. We asked to move to a different condo and subsequently had a quiet and throroughly enjoyable stay. I would stay here again only if I could be sure of avoiding our first condo, but I don’t think customers can pre-choose a specific unit.
As for the skiing, we had a great week on Snowmass and didn’t feel the need to venture to the other 3 mountains.

We stayed at Timberline and had fantastic service. Peter is an awesome driver, friendly and informative. The hotel staff were all polite and service was excellent. The ski and ski out to Village Express 6 person lift was awesome. The end of the day we'd soak in the huge outdoor pool/whirlpool that was priceless and I'd use the sauna as well.
Top it off, my wife forgot her cellphone and they paid to return it to us! We can wait to comeback to Snowmass again next year!

We stayed at the Timberline. What can I say? It was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, one of the most comfortable I have been in away from home. The unit was very well taken care of and the decor was very warm and reminded you of a nice mountain retreat. I would definitely stay here again!

Our condo was very comfortable and the staff was just great. It was the best trip my friends and I had in many years. We loved the ski-in ski-out and the weather and ski conditions just happened to be perfect.

I had a weekend stay during the X-games and wished I had booked it for a week instead. the condo was perfect. the ski in ski out was awesome. I will be coming back for sure.

What a wonderful place! My wife and kids had a blast. The mountain is great for all level of skiers, and the staff at the Timberline was wonderful! We had perfect weather for our trip, and can't wait to return!

We have agroup of 25-30 skiers who range from 1st timers to experienced skiers and every thing in between. ( including non skiers who come for the scenery,Aspen and the "party"). My wife, daughter and I have been coming for the last 5 years and just love Snowmass and Timberline. The condos are wonderful. We cook all our own meals and there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the " SCENE". The best part of the property is the HUGE hottub thats just perfect after a long day on the slopes. The Ski-Out/Ski-in location is perfectly located. We Ski out in the morning,Ski back in for lunch,Ski-out in the afternoon, then ski back in at the end of the day. NO Walking/No shuttles!! It also gives everyone a chance to watch everyone else ski-in at the end of the day. Last year on the final full day the weather was warm, we brought out some chairs, some "liquid" refreshments and sat slopeside video taping our group ski in. We got some hilarious footage. We love Timberline/Snowmass and can't wait to come back in Feb 05.
