Aspen Valley local spends 28 hours as Aspen Tourist

I had the best mini vacation last week and I didn’t even have to leave Aspen, Colorado. I have lived and worked in the Roaring Fork Valley for the past 15 years. I don’t always to take the time to enjoy all that Aspen has to offer. An old friend was coming to town last week with his wife. They could only spend one night and they wanted to make the most of their time.
I had to work that day but I met them for lunch. We went to Taster’s Pizza because it is close to my office and they make amazing pizzas and salads. I returned to work and my friends went to the Maroon Bells for a short hike and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Their photos were amazing!
