Stay Aspen Snowmass is incorporated as a for-profit business, although because it is prohibited through its bylaws from paying dividends to any of its shareholders, it essentially operates like a non-profit. All of its operating profits are reinvested either into capital projects, or a marketing fund to grow its business to the equal mutual benefit of the community, and all three ownership partners. It is also the only reservation service that can claim to offer 100% of all properties available for short-term accommodation throughout both Aspen & Snowmass, and is truly committed to booking guests into Aspen / Snowmass exclusively.

To operate the Mountain resort industry's model year round destination central reservations service, driven to increase tourism business to Aspen/Snowmass through competitive packaging and reinvesting its profits into sales and marketing to benefit our shareholders, while providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience to our guests.Structure and Funding
Stay Aspen Snowmass is owned by three separate but equal partners: Aspen Skiing Company, the Aspen lodging properties (they individually own shares based on their pillow-counts), and the Snowmass Village Resort Association.
