Delta Air Lines flies direct from Atlanta
Delta Air Lines is flying into Aspen Sardy Field airport directly from Atlanta starting February 16, 2008.
SkyWest Airlines, a Delta Connection carrier, will operate the new flights on the Bombardier CRJ 700 aircraft. Delta is the only airline offering convenient international connections to Aspen/Snowmass via it's direct flight from Atlanta. Delta’s new Atlanta flight will complement daily service from Salt Lake City.
The Saturday only service that was initially offered this past February and March, 2008 will be expanded to daily nonstop service between Aspen Sardy Field and Atlanta beginning December 20, 2008. The timing of this flight is going to create ideal connections both to and from Delta's prime international connecting banks through the world’s largest single airline hub. Not only will this new service create new daily one-stop connections from dozens of international markets throughout Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, but it will also connect just about every commercial airport along the Eastern seaboard from Portland, Maine to Key West, FL.
