I booked a room for one night in September at the Aspen Mountain Lodge, through Stay Aspen Snowmass, and it was an easy and quick process. The room had 2 Queen beds, and we had 2 people sleeping in the beds, and also two more people sleeping on the floor, following a bicycle ride over Pearl Pass from Crested Butte. The hotel allowed us to keep our Mountain Bikes in the room so they were secure, and they even waived the $20 per extra person fee! Every staff member that I talked to was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. They have a pool and hot tub, and they are dog friendly as well. I will definitely book a room next year for the Pearl Pass Klunker Tour.

Did not honor room request (one queen rather than two) despite reservations almost three months in advance. We were told by attendant at front desk that StayAspen did not inform them of this request despite their verification that the request had, in fact, been made.

First two days of our stay (we stayed four nights) maid service did not provide fresh towels. Each day we had to request that the dirty towels be removed and fresh towels brought to room.

Carpets need to be replaced as they are obviously old and had cigarette burns (despite this being a no smoking facility).

Impressed! Very clean, nicely decorated, good amenities, friendly staff, and an all- around great value. Breakfast was excellent, high quality for not a cooked hot meal. The only complaint i could think of was the upstairs floors creaked.

It's the perfect place to stay between all that Aspen has to offer. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect right before skiing. I would definitely go back and recommend the place to anyone visiting.

This was the second time I've stayed at Aspen Mountain Lodge (for the USPCC events). I love this place! Super convenient location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and cozy rooms. Fantastic breakfast buffet. My top choice for lodging in Aspen will be Aspen Mountain Lodge from here on out!

Wonder place. Loved everything about it. The bed was soo comfortable. We really appreciated having the mini frig. and the front desk staff was fantastic in helping us get around and recommending restaurants. We would definitely come back again, maybe next year for the fall colors.

This is about the third time I stayed at the Aspen Mountain Lodge and I love it. It is such a good value, close to town, you can walk anywhere. The parking is free which is not always the case at hotels. The breakfast was wonderful, juice, bagels, fresh fruit, etc.

Only place we could get a room Friday Jan 25 due to Xgames and only a 1 night stay. ]
Rooms and bathroom was basic and clean with view of parking lot on second floor. Quiet at night. Staff was pleasant. Free insight parking. Free breakfast that included hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, juices, pastries, muffins, toast, waffles in a pleasant space . Newspapers in AM
I'd recommend.

Arrived at the Lodge after hiking in rain & snow over W Maroon Pass. The Lodge provided not only shelter from the storm, but I felt comfortable, welcome, & thoroughly enjoyed my 2-nite stay.
The short walk into downtown provided a nice opportunity to view some of Aspen's older, comfortable real estate.
Bus stop immediately across the street allowed easy access for returning to the trailhead back home.
I picked the Lodge randomly & couldn't have been more pleased.

Parking, breakfast was very good
the hottub is amazing
the rooms are very clean
the front desk manager - Sherry - was amazing. she was very very helpful.
We had the cheapest room booked in the lower level/garden level. she had few rooms "not booked" and offered us free upgrades without we asking for them. nice service.

she helped us find the right bars/restaurants to go to..

overall a decent pleasant experience.

I found this lodge to be comfortable and exactly what I expected from the website. Get ready for lots of stairs, depending on which floor you stay on. (I was on the 4th.)

The front desk was helpful depending on who was there. On my way out, I asked where I could leave my luggage while I had breakfast. Then when I left, the person at the desk didn't even say good bye or thanks for staying with us. She wasn't on the phone either. This was not a good way to end my visit.
