The world’s most captivating celebration of winter action sports is returning to Aspen Snowmass in 2018 with four days of thrilling competition and numerous performances by some of today’s most popular and influential musical artists.
will once again be ground zero for all the adrenaline-packed activities at X Games
. The venue includes a giant superpipe and massive big air jump along with slopestyle, snowmobile, and snow bike courses. It will also have the interactive X Fest village where attendees can engage with sponsors, play games, collect athlete signatures, find food, and score plenty of SWAG.
The Geico Music Stage is where the impressive X Games music lineup will be found. Martin Garrix, Method Man and Redman, LCD Soundsystem, and Marshmello will all be performing musical sets sure to leave the crowd in awe.
X Games competition starts on Thursday, January 25, and runs through Sunday, January 28, 2018. Ski and snowboard athletes will participate in Big Air, Slopestyle, and Superpipe competitions. Snowmobile athletes will challenge each other in Speed and Style, and Freestyle events, while the snowbike contingent vies for the podium in Snow BikeCross and Best Trick.
Getting to the X Games at Buttermilk Mountain is simple from Aspen and Snowmass. Folks coming from Snowmass can drive or take buses to the Intercept Lot on Colorado Highway 82 where they will be able to catch a special shuttle that will take them to the venue. Those coming from the Aspen area can jump on a shuttle at Rubey Park Transit Center in downtown Aspen.
X Games will be broadcasted on ESPN, but there is nothing quite like being there in person.
