Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience | August 30 - September 1, 2019
A community staple in the Roaring Fork Valley, the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience
is known for it's legendary and entertaining lineup. Dont miss the chance to dance and sing along with headlining acts John Mayer, Sting, Portugal. The Man and more!
In addition to world-class music on the main stage daily, diverse live music can be seen on two festival side stages and at JAS After Dark performances each night. The JAS Village completes the festival feel with an international bazaar of exotic food, drink and crafts.
Every Weekend is a 3-Day Weekend | September 6 - October 6, 2019
New for 2019, while daily hours end Labor Day, weekend hours on Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are valid Friday - Sunday from September 6 through October 6. Whether you're looking to take in views of the Elk Mountains, test your skills in the Snowmass Bike Park or find adventure in the Lost Forest, go ahead and treat yourself to 3 days of fun in Aspen Snowmass.
Bluegrass Sundays | September 1, 2019
Take the Silver Queen Gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain for the final bluegrass concert of the summer. As part of Bluegrass Sundays
, enjoy a free performance by the Smuggler Mountain Boys from noon-3:00 PM. The Smuggler Mountain Boys play everything from Bill Monroe thru The Grateful Dead. Get lunch and drinks at the Sundeck Restaurant, then enjoy your meal outside with the live music and incredible mountain views.
Snowmass Balloon Festival | September 6-8, 2019
What’s great about the Snowmass Balloon Festival
is that all of the events are free. On Saturday, check out Cidermass, a festival celebrating all things cider and featuring over 20 different vendors, from 1-4pm on the Snowmass Mall and then Snowmass Septemberfest from 4-7pm at Snowmass Base Village. There will be wine, sake, and food tastings, as well as kids’ activities, so bring the entire family!
Then, don’t miss the Glow Show also in Snowmass Base Village and on Fanny Hill. The Glow Show will feature live music synchronized with the glow of the hot air balloons.
Snowmass Wine Festival | September 14, 2019
Set within the breathtaking scenery of fall in Snowmass, the Snowmass Wine Festival
features a Grand Tasting on Saturday, September 14. The festival showcases an extesnive array of wines from around the world as well as bites from some of the Roaring Fork Valley's favorite restaurants, which all pair perfectly witth music by DJ Boogie Down Light & Sound.
Aspen Ruggerfest | September 19-22, 2019
Autumn in Aspen is the perfect season and location for a rugby tournament like Aspen Ruggerfest
. This annual event began in 1968 and this year marks the 52nd tournament. Each year, 30-40 teams travel to Aspen from all over the world, as far away as Australia, France, and all over the UK. Aspen Ruggerfest is a fun sporting event, and you can support the home team, the Gentlemen of Aspen, by wearing red and black stripes.
